Adam Tysoe is an award– winning producer director and a highly experienced self shooter, editor and writer

I began my career as a photographer, working for advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising before moving into television where I directed award winning documentary programmes for Channel 4, the BBC and Discovery Channel.

Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience in all areas of the film making process, starting out working with crews shooting on film, and as technology has advanced rapidly I have put my experience as a photographer to good use as a shooting director and DOP.

As digital has grown to become a dominant force I have produced, directed and shot corporate films for companies such as Vitality health, Boring Money and British Telecom and am experienced working both with crews or alone, having filmed in the USA, Africa, India and across Europe.

Most recently I have been directing TV shows for US TV, including the long running series, "Autopsy" and "Breaking the band". These programmes use a combination of archive, drama reconstruction and interview to tell the life stories of some of the worlds most well known celebrities and bands including; Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, Prince and the revolution and Doris Day.
